Originally from rural Missouri, William’s path has been anything but conventional. While studying Professional and Technical Writing at Missouri State University, he found a niche joy in bookkeeping for a small business located in Southwest Missouri. Shortly after, he decided to uproot and move to California to pursue a better life and career opportunities.
In 2019, William joined David Weise & Associates, where he learned the intricacies of accounting and business management while working alongside seasoned Business Managers and CPAs. It was during this time he discovered the fulfillment of combining his love for music and artistry with the technical discipline of accounting.
Post-pandemic, William decided to look for new challenges in the business management world and in 2021 joined TKG. Starting as a bookkeeper, he diligently worked to understand all aspects of the music industry relating to business management, quickly earning recognition for his work ethic, leadership, and dedication. Within a year he was promoted to Account Manager, and shortly thereafter to Business Manager. Today, he oversees more than 30 clients, 107 entities, and leads a staff of seven.
Outside of work, William is an avid reader and active member of his CrossFit community. He values time spent with his chosen family and friends and has a soft spot for cats.
